Come Ride With Me and Choose A Path Forward

Geoffrey E. Hill (Jeff)

I graduated from MIT, became a U.S. Air Force Lieutenant in the Weather Service stationed in Tripoli, then in French Morocco and finally in Rome, where I became fluent in Italian by living with a local family.

After the Air Force, I was a senior scientist at both Avco Corp. (now Textron Defense Systems) and the U.S. Air force Cambridge Research Laboratories and a professor at what is now Lowell University. I was awarded a National Science Foundation science faculty fellowship to complete a PhD at Penn. State University. Then I became a Research Professor at the Utah Water Research Laboratory, Utah State University in Logan. I was author of many scientific publications and was awarded three U.S. Patents. My wife and I enjoyed the community for many years while raising our two daughters.

After retiring I continued independent research supported with government contracts. Subsequently, I followed a long-standing interest in world affairs by writing a non-fiction book titled “Ghosts of ’45: Japan’s War Legacy and National Purpose.” The book is about the lead up to the war with Japan and its aftermath. There are reviews on Amazon where it can be purchased.

From my first days as an air force officer to the present time, I have had the pleasure, and yes, luxury of traveling all around the world. That experience has helped me appreciate the best in many other cultures.

My present endeavor is this website. With my experience as a scientist, I believe I have acquired a strong desire to find truth. That is my sincerest hope for the present effort. I am accustomed to and believe in the review process. Your comments or reviews will be taken in the same spirit.
